Apple Blossom Bough Necklace
WB Yeats created this lovely poem many years ago
I thought of your beauty, and this arrow,
Made out of a wild thought, is in my marrow.
There's no man may look upon her, no man,
As when newly grown to be a woman,
Tall and noble but with face and bosom
Delicate in colour as apple blossom.
This beauty's kinder, yet for a reason
I could weep that the old is out of season.
My very pretty apple blossom bough necklace was designed to look like two branches crossing at their tips with apple blossoms running across and measures around six inches and sits as an 17 inch chain. I polish the branches but bring out the petals in bright 22ct yellow gold plate or a blue grey oxidised finish set on a fine silver chain with a handmade catch.
